With its captivating art style and intriguing narrative, the game has piqued my curiosity since its initial announcement. Now, with the clarification that it will be based on version 4.0 of the game, which includes a plethora of content from the Japanese release, I can hardly contain my anticipation.
In response to a multitude of queries regarding the impending English rollout of the free-to-play turn-based RPG titled “Heaven Burns Red,” publishers Yostar and developers Wright Flyer Studios & Key have provided clarification. With its Japanese debut on February 2022, there was much curiosity surrounding the English adaptation, given that it was first announced in early July.
The developers have confirmed that the launch of the game in English will feature version 4.0 of Heaven Burns Red, identical to the one used in its second anniversary Japanese release. Moreover, the English adaptation of Heaven Burns Red is planned for both Windows and mobile platforms. However, it remains undecided whether the English Windows version will be distributed via Steam like the Japanese one, or if it will be a standalone application.
Upon the release of the English translation of “When Heaven Burns Red,” you can expect additional content compared to the Japanese version. This supplementary material wasn’t originally part of the Japanese edition but has been incorporated into the English version.
In the Main Story titled “Fabricated Fingers and a Sea of Rice”, you’ll be able to play up to Chapter 3 once the English version becomes available.

In the upcoming English release, you’ll have access to all Memorias from the JP server up until November 29th, 2022. This includes a total of 47 SS Memorias, 32 S Memorias, and 48 A Memorais.
