To add some danger and excitement, we have a quest specifically for Demon Hunters, titled “Unleash the Colossus“. This quest offers you consistent speedy moves to deal damage, followed by a reward that significantly enhances the lethality of your future attacks with swarms of stinging insects.
As a devoted Hearthstone player, let me share some insights about quests in this captivating game. For newcomers, these quests are unique 1-mana spells that you’ll find right in your starting hand. They offer enticing rewards when you accomplish their designated objectives. One such mission for Demon Hunters is titled “Unleash the Colossus.” This thrilling challenge requires you to inflict a precise two points of damage on an adversary, an impressive 15 times over!
For Demon Hunter, whose standard attack deals only one damage, this quest might pose a unique challenge. However, the complete Demon Hunter quest line offers numerous ways to inflict exactly two damage. This includes creatures like the Gorishi Wasp that delivers two damage and provides the Gorishi Stinger spell, which can deal an additional four damage. Additionally, there’s the Infestation spell that grants more Stingers, the Insect Claw weapon with two charges of a two-damage strike, the Gorishi Tunneler that damages both the target and the hero, and the 1-mana Silithid Grub with rush. Lastly, while not directly linked to the quest, the Silithid Queen works well within the package, dealing significant damage if you played a Beast on the previous turn due to its Kindred keyword.
Following several assaults against your adversary, you’ll earn the Gorishi Colossus, a formidable 5-mana Beast that boasts an impressive 8/8 stat line. Moreover, it will double any 2-damage attacks you inflict from then on, for the remainder of the game. This makes it exceptionally proficient at swiftly reducing your opponent’s health, which aligns well with the Demon Hunter’s knack for dealing numerous small amounts of damage.
The expansion for Hearthstone’s Lost City of Un’goro will go live on July 8. You can pre-order now! The Standard Bundle ($50) offers 60 packs, two randomly selected Legendary cards, and a Spiritsinger Umbra card back as extras. For $80, the Mega Bundle includes 80 packs, 10 golden packs, one random Signature card, one random Golden Legendary card, four Tavern Tickets, the Spiritsinger Umbra card back, and a Warlock hero skin.
