The next big update for Hearthstone arrives on November 4th, and it’s highly anticipated! The ‘Across the Timeways‘ expansion focuses on Warcraft’s history, bringing both old and new heroes into the game with some exciting new features. The strongest of these new characters are called ‘Fabled’ heroes – instantly recognizable legends that also add extra Legendary cards to your deck. TopMob has the first look at Lady Azshara, a powerful ‘Fabled Druid’ legendary card. She also introduces two strong location cards, and even boosts one of them for extra power.
Lady Azshara is a powerful minion costing 5 mana, with 5 attack and 5 health. When played, she lets you choose to boost either Zin-Azshari or the Well of Eternity. Both of these locations are added to your deck when you play Lady Azshara, but you can only empower one—the other will be discarded. Zin-Azshari lets you summon a copy of a friendly minion, and empowering it with Lady Azshara doubles the stats of those copies. The Well of Eternity fills your hand with temporary spells, and if empowered, each spell will cast twice.
Using Lady Azshara to boost one of your locations will ruin the other. However, if you plan ahead, you could benefit from one location first, *then* use Azshara on the second, effectively avoiding the downside.
The upcoming Across the Timeways expansion introduces a new keyword called Rewind. Cards with this ability allow you to replay a card if its random effect doesn’t work out as planned.
You can now pre-order the Across the Timeways expansion! The standard bundle includes 60 packs, two legendary cards, and a special card back. The Mega Bundle offers even more – 80 packs, 10 golden packs, a Signature card, a golden legendary, four Tavern Tickets, and a unique hero skin and card back. If you buy both bundles, you’ll also receive a random golden legendary card as a bonus!
