Actress Rosario Dawson will lead Season 2 of “Ahsoka,” and Hayden Christensen is reprising his iconic role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. However, it seems that Christensen’s future in the “Star Wars” universe may span beyond this Disney+ series. After appearing as the infamous villain in various projects since “Revenge of the Sith,” including the six-part limited series where he reconnected with Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, Christensen has hinted that his enduring role might have more to offer in the distant galaxy.
In a chat with ComicBook.com, Hayden Christensen discussed his thoughts on potentially delving deeper into the character of Darth Vader beyond the events of “Revenge of the Sith”. Despite his recent portrayals, this Star Wars legend believes there’s still much to uncover about the character during that time period.
There’s a great deal more to uncover about Vade. I believe, starting from where we last saw him following Episode III, and considering all the complexities he must resolve after being trapped in this alternate version of himself, there are numerous compelling tales yet to be shared.
More to come.
