Harmony Korine, the director behind “Baby Invasion”, is collaborating with top-tier gaming accessory makers via his creative collective EDGLRD. They’re unveiling a restricted edition keyboard in collaboration with elite gaming hardware brand Higround, capitalizing on the lucrative gaming hardware market.
The collaboration between EDGLRD and Higround, showcased by Travis Scott in a promotional video last month, is set to release its new keyboard this coming Friday, May 2nd, at 12 p.m. Pacific Time. At the moment, we don’t have details regarding the cost of the product.
According to the companies, this keyboard collaboration is referred to as a “special edition collection” that translates our visual world into reality, key by key. Each keycap is exclusive, an original artwork crafted with different textures, surfaces, and digitally designed shapes. The keys range from molten lava-like textures to cracked concrete finishes, alien metal patterns to deep sea algae hues, ensuring that no two keys are identical. The design is tactile, drawing inspiration directly from the EDGLRD universe.
