The upcoming 4K Blu-ray versions of “Happy Gilmore” and “Billy Madison,” produced by Kino Lorber, are currently available at a discount on Amazon. You can preorder “Happy Gilmore” for $33.49 (originally priced at $45) before its release on August 19, and “Billy Madison” is available for $28 before its launch on July 29. Notably, Walmart is selling both movies at full price. Each set comes with two discs and sleeves.
The 4K Blu-ray version of the original Happy Gilmore movie is now available in stores, closely following the release of its sequel. Starting July 25, you can stream Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix. As for Billy Madison, this year marks its 30th anniversary and it’s one of the first Adam Sandler comedies to get a 4K Blu-ray upgrade.
Apart from the Adam Sandler films available in 4K Blu-ray, only two titles are offered by The Criterion Collection – Uncut Gems and Punch-Drunk Love. Currently, these movies are being sold at a discount of 50% for a limited period.
