I’m so excited! Supergiant Games just dropped a new video showing a live recording session for “Mountain of the Gods” from Hades II. They recorded it at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, and it sounds absolutely incredible!
This music video features the orchestral performance of a song created through a collaboration between composers Darren Korb and Austin Wintory. The performer credits are included at the end of the video.
If you missed it, check out my perfect review of Hades II here, and my article comparing how the game performs on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC here. Hades II is currently available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
For Hades II, composer Darren Korb went to the renowned Abbey Road Studios in London to record important musical tracks. He collaborated with conductor and arranger Austin Wintory, and this music video captures them working together live during those recording sessions.
