To make things worse, Kayla’s father, Michael, deliberately assigns Jimmy to the mailroom in an attempt to embarrass him. But in the final episode of Hacks, this power play fails, and Jimmy ultimately succeeds against all odds in a classic underdog story.

Okay, so the job itself wasn’t glamorous – Jimmy was stuck in the mailroom – but it gave him total access to all the company’s financial stuff. And honestly, it was a real kick in the teeth when they left him out of the big corporate retreat. That’s when he had the run of the office, and he decided to investigate Michael.
