In a move that can only be described as “let’s throw a party and see who shows up,” the Hashgraph Association and the Exponential Science Foundation have kicked off the Hedera Africa Hackathon 2025. This global extravaganza is set to turbocharge Web3 and artificial intelligence adoption across the vast and vibrant African continent. 🎉

With a jaw-dropping prize pool of $1 million (yes, you read that right), this hackathon will run from August 1 to September 30, aiming to attract over 10,000 participants from 15 African countries. That’s more people than you’d find at a Taylor Swift concert! 🎤
