Gwyneth Paltrow Quashes Rumors of Beef With Meghan Markle, ‘Might’ Return to Marvel Universe

Gwyneth Paltrow has firmly quashed any rumors of a “beef” with Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex is launching a lifestyle brand, which has immediately brought up comparisons to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop and ignited discussions about a potential Meghan Markle versus Gwyneth Paltrow rivalry.

During an Instagram Q&A session, someone asked Paltrow about the supposed beef with Meghan Markle that social media claims they have. Paltrow responded by saying, “To be honest, I don’t grasp this idea at all. Do you understand it?” Then, she pointed the camera towards Markle who was casually eating pie and shrugged her shoulders.

The person asked Paltrow about the rumored disagreement between them and Meghan Markle on Instagram. Paltrow said she didn’t get it at all and asked if anyone else did, while also showing Markle on camera who was eating a piece of pie and shaking her shoulders as if to say ‘I don’t know either’.

Gwyneth Paltrow established her niche within the Marvel Cinematic Universe by portraying Pepper Potts, first appearing alongside Robert Downey Jr. in “Iron Man” (2008). Her role continued through “Iron Man 2” (2010), “The Avengers” (2012), “Iron Man 3” (2013), “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (2017), “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018), and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). Although Paltrow now focuses more on her Goop business and has occasionally forgotten to acknowledge some of her Marvel roles, her strong portrayal of the stable force behind Stark Industries, as well as her occasional heroics within the MCU, have left a lasting impact.

During an Instagram stories Q&A, when asked directly if she would return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Paltrow said, ” frankly, I’m not entirely certain. I suspect it could happen, but it’s uncertain. There’s nothing definitive yet. That’s the honest truth, and that’s the inside info.

In Spanish, Paltrow was queried if she often communicated with Robert Downey Jr., set to reprise his role as Doctor Doom in the MCU in 2026. To this, Paltrow responded affirmatively, stating that while they don’t chat every day, they have lengthy conversations and she intends to call him on April 4, which happens to be his 60th birthday.
