As a seasoned Gunpla builder and enthusiast, I must say that diving into the world of Gundam Breaker 4 has been nothing short of exhilarating! Each character I’ve encountered so far has their unique charm and battle style that keeps me coming back for more.
In about a week from now, you can get your hands on Gundam Breaker 4, which is set to launch simultaneously on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam worldwide on August 29th. Despite the upcoming release, Bandai Namco continues to share fresh content for the latest addition to the mech-customization action game series. Recently, they hosted a live stream in Japan, where they showcased additional characters and Gunpla kits that will feature in the game.
To begin with, here’s a rundown of the latest additions to our collection of Mobile Suits and SD Gunpla kits. This new lineup surpasses the previously advertised number of “over-250” items and now counts more than 260, making it an even more extensive selection.

The following five game units are set to appear in-game. Additionally, Bandai Namco has hinted at introducing the X-EX01 “Gundam Calibarn,” which originates from The Witch From Mercury, through a post-release update patch at an unspecified time, much like the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.
Bandai Namco unveiled additional major characters for the game’s narrative last month, following their initial reveal of the main characters back in June.
One character you’ll meet in GBBBB is Sheena, voiced by Sara Matsumoto in Japanese. While she appears soft-spoken and ladylike, she conceals a strong determination within. Occasionally, this resilience peeks through her demeanor. It seems she harbors some concerns, but the nature of these worries remains unclear. During missions, Sheena tends to play a supportive role, and her Gunpla is designed for long-range attacks rather than close combat.
A cryptic figure resembling Lilin (voice by Rio Tsuchiya) from the Gunpla world, who shares similar appearances and Gunpla models. She appears to be perpetually active on GBBBB and exhibits impressive combat skills, yet her emotional range is limited, offering straightforward replies.
You’ll encounter another Gunpla Builder in GBBBB, voiced as Mashima. Despite having unique strategies, he demonstrates impressive combat abilities with the use of Funnels.
A well-respected, high-ranking player with exceptional skills in GBBBB, often referred to as ‘Meister’ by fellow players. The enigmatic air surrounding him is further accentuated by his masked avatar. Despite maintaining a courteous demeanor in everyday interactions, Jin can become fiercely competitive during battles.
Bandai Namco also shared previews of the upcoming additional content from their paid DLC packages. The initial Diorama DLC will feature items modeled after space colonies and 15 posters from various Universal Century TV shows and movies. On the other hand, the first Story DLC will additionally include 4 new Gunpla kits; however, they have not yet disclosed which specific models these will be.
