According to EbMaster’s confirmation, Greg Berlanti has arranged several projects for various streaming platforms where he will contribute as a co-writer.
Despite Berlanti being a highly productive producer in Hollywood through his Berlanti Productions based at Warner Bros. TV, his latest writing credit is for the show “Superman & Lois,” which premiered in 2021.
Initially, Berlanti and Carly Wray (known for “The Leftovers” and “Watchmen”) have been announced as scriptwriters and executive producers for the horror-thriller movie titled “Stillwater.” This film is adapted from a comic book with the same name by Chip Zdarsky and Ramon K. Perez, under the Skybound imprint.
Berlanti and Carly Wray will write and oversee production for the horror-thriller movie “Stillwater,” which is based on a comic book of the same name published by Skybound. The creators of the comic are Chip Zdarsky and Ramon K. Perez.
As I delved into the intriguing world of “Stillwater,” I found myself captivated by its enigmatic premise. Once an ex-convict named Daniel West, intrigued by a secretive letter promising revelations about his past and a substantial legacy, I embarked on a journey to this peculiar small town. Here, I uncovered a society where time seems to stand still, death is merely a rumor, and escape is an impossible dream.
Skybound Entertainment’s executive producers include Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Rick Jacobs, Glenn Geller, and Charlie Zdarsky. Sarah Schechter and Leigh London Redman will serve as executive producers for Berlanti Productions, with Robbie Rogers and Jonathan Gabay also taking on this role. Warner Bros. Television, where Wray has an overall deal, is the production studio.
As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been part of the team that wrote the spec script “Foster Dade.” This captivating project has found its home on Hulu, with plans for a pilot in the pipeline. The other brilliant mind behind this project is Bathsheba Doran, known for her work on “Life After Life” and “The Nevers.”
Our story is inspired by the 2023 novel “Foster Dade Explores the Cosmos,” penned by Nash Jenkins. The narrative unfolds from the perspective of a character who takes up residence in Foster’s former dorm room at the prestigious Kennedy boarding school, triggering an intriguing investigation into a scandal that once shook the campus to its core.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Berlanti, Doran, Schechter, Redman, and Donald De Line of De Line Pictures are all at the helm as executive producers. The masterminds behind this production are none other than Warner Bros. Television, the studio that consistently delivers high-quality content.
Currently, Berlanti Productions is working on the last season of “You” streaming on Netflix, which they co-created with Sera Gamble. Additionally, they have projects like “Found” and “Brilliant Minds” in the pipeline for NBC, and “All American” continues to air on The CW.
Berlanti is repped by CAA.
Deadline first reported the series order and development news.
