As a seasoned movie buff with a penchant for all things Christmas, I must say that this year’s Hallmark lineup is truly something to behold! With a diverse cast and heartwarming stories that span from rekindled friendships to romantic entanglements, there’s certainly something for everyone.
Once more, the Great American Media graces our screens with their 4th yearly selection of heartwarming Christmas programs! Not only do they boast an extensive collection of traditional holiday entertainment, but also unique, fresh films exclusively available on their network this season.
The Great American Christmas collection, consisting of 16 fresh movies, starts airing on Pure Flix from October 17, and will be available on Great American Family two days later, on October 19.
Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media, expressed in a statement that Christmas is a period for considering what truly matters. As a brand, Great American sets its Christmas collection apart by evoking the nostalgia of classic Christmas stories and why they are cherished. The enduring appeal of tales that strengthen faith, the warmth of being with family and loved ones during this season, and the optimism that it brings out the best in us all are the essence of Great American Christmas – a true celebration of Christmas.
This Thanksgiving evening, GAF will debut the linear broadcast of the 2022 movie “I Heard the Bells,” featuring Stephen Atherholt, Jonathan Blair, and Rachel Day Hughes. Furthermore, they’ll be organizing the 128th Rose Parade on New Year’s Day, starting at 8 a.m. Eastern Time.
During the holiday season, GAF plans to broadcast movies from their collection as well. Among them are popular choices like “Let It Snow”, starring Candace Cameron Bure which aired in 2013, and the 2019 hit titled “When Hope Calls Christmas”.
