Gravity announces Ragnarok Project for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Steam

Gravity and Daewon Media have created a Steam page for their upcoming game, Ragnarok Project, also called Ragnarok Console Project. According to Gematsu, the game is planned to launch worldwide around the first half of 2027 on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.

I’ve been a big fan of the Ragnarok series for years, and it’s always been about those huge, online worlds – MMORPGs, basically. The newest game, Ragnarok Online 3, is still being developed and seemed like it would follow that trend. But I was really surprised to see that the Steam page for ‘Ragnarok Project’ says it’s going to be a completely different kind of game – a single-player RPG! It’s a cool change of pace, and I’m definitely curious to see how it turns out.
