As a passionate film enthusiast and follower of independent cinema, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of “Trust in Love,” a captivating and award-winning film that has left a significant impact on the festival circuit. With an impressive 30 awards from 23 different festivals under its belt, this moving story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
“Love and Trust” has been bought by Gravitas Ventures for both cinema screenings and online rental, after winning 30 awards in 23 film festivals where it was showcased.
Under the guidance of director Mick Davis (“Modigliani,” “Walden”), this film tells the story of Mickey Ferrara, a record producer whose career has been less than impressive. In the midst of personal turmoil, with his wife seeking a divorce and their son grappling with his sexuality, Mickey remains determined and prepared to fight for his family’s unity and potentially create one final successful album.
Jimi Petulla (known for “The Fall of America and the Western World” and “Reversal”), Sydney Bullock (“Stranger Things” and “Dynasty”), Logan Arditty (“Stay Out” and “Progeny: Camp Pathway”), Natasha Wilson (“Once Upon a Time” and “Commander in Chief”) join Eric Roberts, Tim Hazelip, Miljenko Matijevic, and Robby Krieger in the cast of this film.
Petulla’s indie film was both written and manufactured, earning it various awards at different film festivals. At the Vancouver International Film Awards, it won Best International Feature Film and Best Narrative Feature. Additionally, it claimed top honors in several categories at the Los Angeles Cinematography Awards, including Best Feature Film, Best Cinematography for a Feature Film, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. Furthermore, this film was distinguished as Best Feature Film at the Amsterdam World International Film Festival, among other recognitions.
Starting August 5, the film “Trust in Love” will embark on a theatrical tour through various cinemas. It will then be available for online viewing from August 13.
Davis is represented by the agencies Gersh and Source Management + Production. Wilson is managed by Pacific Artists Management and Brave Artists Management. Bullock is signed with Arise Artists Agency, J Pervis Talent Agency, Luber Rolkin Entertainment, and Arditty’s talent is overseen by Eris Talent Agency.
