Fans of Castlevania can buy the complete Netflix animated series in one go at Amazon during their Big Spring Sale, for approximately $40. The box set including Seasons 1 and 2 is priced at $18.77, while you can purchase Seasons 3 and 4 individually for around $20 each. Plus, if you buy any three Blu-rays, Amazon’s B2G1 free promotion applies, meaning you get one of them for free! Just add them to your cart, and at checkout, you’ll receive a discount equivalent to the cost of Seasons 1 and 2.
Although Castlevania: Nocturne Season 1 isn’t part of Amazon’s current promotion, you can still enjoy a savings of $15 on its original price of $40.

There’s some uncertainty about whether Nocturne Season 2, which premiered on Netflix in January, will come out as a physical DVD or Blu-ray. Given that all previous seasons of Castlevania have been released physically, it appears probable.
Aficionados of the series might be intrigued by Castlevania: The Art of the Animated Series – an approximately 200-page compilation that offers insights into the creation process of the show during its four-season span.
If you haven’t caught it when it initially premiered, the original Castlevania series revolves around Trevor Belmont, a vampire hunter, Sypha, a powerful sorceress, and Alucard as they combat Dracula and his legions of demons. The latter part of the show delves into a group of vampires aiming to establish their own undead kingdom, alongside the infamous Grim Reaper, who is known for his colorful language (some might argue this is Malcolm McDowell’s finest performance yet).
Just as anticipated, this series is filled with intense, visually stunning action sequences and dialogue that’s sharper than a razor edge in some of the quieter moments. The Blu-ray versions include bonus content like behind-the-scenes footage, voice actor interviews, storyboards, art collections, and other special features.
Centuries after the initial Castlevania animated series, Nocturne’s first season centered around Richter Belmont and drew influence from the 1993 PC Engine game, Rondo of Blood, also recognized by some as Dracula X (its North American title). Initially released only in Japan, Konami later made the story available in North America on Super Nintendo under the name Castlevania: Dracula X. Nocturne’s second season provided answers to many questions from the first season while hinting at potential storylines for a third installment.
It appears that Netflix has not yet confirmed a third season for Castlevania: Nocturne. However, there’s a possibility that instead of continuing the story of Nocturne, a fresh Castlevania saga might be initiated. The animated Castlevania series has been a notable highlight for the franchise lately, so let’s hope it continues in some form or another.
Discussing the Netflix animated adaptations of video games, the first season of Arcane was released in 4K and standard Blu-ray along with Nocturne last October. Arcane debuted with two Limited Edition Steelbooks – one with Jinx cover art for the 4K Blu-ray and another with Vi cover art for the 1080p Blu-ray. Currently, Amazon has restocked the 4K Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbook at $37.76 (originally $60), and the standard Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbook for $35.64 (originally $55). The non-steelbook Blu-ray edition is only $26 (originally $45). Arcane concluded its Netflix run with its second and last season in November.
