The cooking competition show “Next Level Chef,” hosted by Gordon Ramsay, has been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6, only two weeks following its premiere in the fourth season on Fox.
Additionally, the franchise is expanding its offerings with a holiday-themed competition called “Next Level Baker,” which has been approved for Season 1. This spinoff, lasting a total of four hours, will challenge bakers to create festive holiday treats for each level within the franchise.
In “Next Level Chef,” contestants battle it out in three distinct kitchen settings, ranging from the sparkling upper level to the tough confines of the basement. The ingredients used are tailored to suit each environment. The victorious chef takes home a substantial $250,000 prize.
The show ‘Next Level Chef’ can be watched every Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Fox, or the following day on Hulu for streaming. This series is overseen by executives Ramsay and Matt Cahoon.
I’m thrilled that the show ‘Next Level Baker’ is set to air on Fox later this year. This holiday special will feature amateur bakers, who usually create treats for their loved ones, going head-to-head with social media influencers known for their visually stunning baked goods, as well as skilled professional pastry chefs, showcasing their Michelin-star caliber pastries.” (Gordon Ramsay’s statement)
He mentioned, “My initial profession was crafting bread in Paris, and to me there’s no greater pleasure than the aroma of freshly baked loaves. During these holiday specials, I’m eager to unveil remarkable family recipes that have been passed down through generations of bakers, as well as innovative bakers who skillfully adapt to dietary restrictions and those with a knack for breathtaking creativity and sophisticated design work. This festive season, I am thrilled to delve into the baking soul of America.
As a movie reviewer, I’d put it like this: “The show ‘Next Level Chef’ consistently sets new heights for culinary brilliance, making it a must-watch for food competition enthusiasts. It’s a treasure in Fox’s arsenal and a format that’s gaining global popularity. To expand the series’ reach even further, they’ve introduced a holiday special titled ‘Next Level Baker’. This move underscores the robustness of our long-standing partnership with Gordon Ramsay, which this year marks its 20th anniversary.
