Or:

Paula Malcomson and Jake McDorman have been added to the already-announced lineup of Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy, Brendan Gleeson, and Harper Steele for the upcoming series.

The official description for the series states:

For the past twenty-eight years, I’ve been navigating life alongside my sister, Samantha, after a fateful night of violence shattered our family. As a lawyer, much like our father, I find myself once again in the thick of it when another attack rocks our small town of Pikeville. Being the first witness on the scene, I’m compelled to confront my inner demons as the case unfolds, revealing one startling truth after another. In the end, both Samantha and I are left questioning if being a good daughter, as I’ve always strived to be, was truly worth the cost.

In the upcoming production, Williams is cast as Harriet “Gamma” Quinn, while Dorman takes on the role of Ben. Moreover, Marshall has been selected to portray a younger version of Sam, and Cheek will embody a youthful Charlie.

Williams, Dorman, Marshall, and Cheek are all represented by multiple talent agencies. Williams works with Independent Talent Group and Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Dorman is managed by Verve, Entertainment 360, and Nathan Culliver Management, Marshall is handled by Paradigm, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Yorn Levine Barnes, while Cheek is represented by Evolve Artists Agency.

In a new development, ‘Slaughter’ is transforming her novel “The Good Daughter” into a screenplay, and will assume the role of executive producer. Meanwhile, Byrne will not only star in the series, but will also serve as an executive producer. Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, and Casey Haver are set to executive produce for Made Up Stories. Steph Green is directing each episode and will be an executive producer as well. Made Up Stories is collaborating with Fifth Season on production, with the latter taking charge of international distribution.
