Glowcraft Films has teamed up with actor-martial artist Ernie Reyes Jr.’s production company, The Ninja, for a co-production deal, focusing on the creation of Reyes’ first independent film titled “Ninjaverse.” By leveraging Glowcraft’s proficiency in advanced virtual production technology, they aim to breathe life into Reyes’ unique vision of a mystical martial arts universe.
In a press release, it’s been announced that the movie, penned by Reyes Jr., revolves around a noble warrior family residing secretly in North Hollywood, who are compelled to journey back to a mystical martial arts realm to retake their castle from a tyrannical ruler. The film will feature Reyes’ daughter, Lotus Blossom, as the main character, and his son, Phoenix, will make his acting debut in “Ninjaverse.”

Reyes expressed in a statement that he never aimed to be solely known as an action star. He found the ’90s independent film era, often referred to as the ‘golden age of indies’, incredibly inspiring.
