Gladiator 2 popcorn bucket ‘will sell out’ and everyone’s saying the same thing

As a lifelong fan of both Gladiator and MF Doom, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia tinged with excitement at the reveal of the Gladiator 2 popcorn bucket. The resemblance to MF Doom’s iconic mask is uncanny, and it’s a testament to the enduring impact of both the film franchise and the late, great Daniel Dumile.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but appreciate the way the Gladiator 2 popcorn bucket resonates with Maximus’ words, “What we do in life, echoes in eternity.” This bucket, in its own unique way, stirs memories of the Gladiator franchise and its association with MF Doom.

The artist behind the unique design for Dune: Part Two’s “wormussy” toys could well feel as powerful and awe-inspiring as Ozymandias. With audiences rushing to buy these $30 movie-themed buckets, they might exclaim, “Observe my creations, all who are great, and be dismayed.

Each fresh film seems to be catering to the audience’s desire: Deadpool and Wolverine, two iconic characters; Beetlejuice, the eccentric ghost; Alien: Romulus, a new chapter in the alien saga; and even Terrifier 3, the third installment of the horror series.

Now, if you weren’t entertained enough already, Gladiator 2’s popcorn bucket has been revealed – and, as many people have pointed out, it looks just like MF Doom’s mask.

User A stated: “They’re running low and it’s not due to the movie.

I’m sorry for the confusion that’s being caused among employees. It seems there’s a misunderstanding about the remaining popcorn buckets, as there appears to be more than one but people keep claiming there’s only one left. Also, it seems some are upset when their names aren’t capitalized properly in certain instances.

Did you know MF Doom was a rapper who often wore a mask resembling another? If you come across phrases like “One bucket left” or “remember ALL CAPS”, they’re likely nods to his track ‘One Beer’ and his preference for capital letters in his stage name, as well as the title of his song ‘ALL CAPS’.

I was today years old when I found out MF DOOM’s mask is from Gladiator

Daniel Dumile, better known by his stage name MF Doom, passed away in October 2020. During an interview in 2009, he shared that the original Gladiator movie was the inspiration behind his signature mask.

He mentioned that during the era when Gladiator was popular, there were replicas of those movie gladiator masks being sold. He had recently come across one, which he thought would be ideal for representing the DOOM character.

Despite the high price tag, I put my faith in him and allowed him to make the purchase. What he bought was quite special – a collector’s item mask, complete with an ornate wooden stand. It was an authentic replica, coming with a display stick and stand for showcasing purposes.

One fan predicted: “This isn’t a dig at Gladiator 2 but more MF Doom fans are gonna buy this bucket than they will actually see Gladiator 2.”

You can obtain the bucket only at Regal Cinemas prior to the movie’s premiere.

The sequel to “Gladiator” will premiere in the United Kingdom on November 15, and in the United States on November 22. A significant reveal concerning Paul Mescal’s character was featured in the most recent trailer.
