‘Ginny and Georgia’ Season 3 Casts Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna as Production Wraps

As a cinephile with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the addition of Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna to the cast of “Ginny and Georgia” is nothing short of exhilarating! Having closely followed the trajectory of this captivating dramedy series since its debut in 2021, I am thrilled to see the evolution of its characters and the fresh talent joining the ensemble.

Actor Ty Doran (“Manifest”) and actor Noah Lamanna (“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”) are now part of the main cast for Netflix’s own comedy-drama show “Ginny and Georgia.” The series recently finished filming for its third season.

In Season 3, Doran will take on the role of Wolfe, a carefree student in Ginny’s (Antonia Gentry) poetry class who doesn’t seem too keen on academics. On the other hand, Lamanna will portray Tris, an intelligent skateboarder and peer tutor, who is not only a good friend of Marcus (Felix Mallard) and Silver (Katelyn Wells), but also a part of the recurring cast members including Sara Waisglass, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark, and Nathan Mitchell.

Making its debut in 2021, the series “Ginny and Georgia” tells the story of Ginny Miller, a 15-year-old with an air of maturity that outpaces her 30-year-old mother, Georgia (played by Brianne Howey), as they settle their family in a New England town.

Following its debut in January 2023, “Ginny and Georgia” Season 2 claimed the number one position among English TV shows on Netflix’s most-watched list and remained in the global top 10 rankings for nearly two months across 88 countries. In May of 2023, Netflix announced that another season, the fourth, was also planned for release.

In this production, Sarah Lampert takes on the role as the executive producer, while Sarah Glinski serves as showrunner. Additionally, Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly (representing Critical Content), Holly Hines, Daniel March (for Dynamic Television), Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron and Armand Leo (from Blue Ice Pictures) are also serving as executive producers.

Further information about Season 3, including when it’ll air and any new actors joining the cast, will be shared at a future announcement.
