Gigantamax Pokemon debut in Pokemon Go’s Go Bigger event

As a seasoned gamer who has been on this Pokemon Go journey since its inception, I can confidently say that the upcoming Go Bigger event is shaping up to be nothing short of phenomenal! The introduction of Gigantamax forms and Max Battles has me absolutely thrilled. I remember when we first got Dynamax Pokemon, it was a game-changer, and I have no doubt that this new mechanic will elevate our gaming experience yet again.

Just days away, there’s an exciting new Pokémon GO event titled “Go Bigger”! This event will introduce Gigantamax forms for the first time in the special Max Battles you can participate in.

The latest phase of the Max Out season is brimming with fresh content for Niantic’s mobile game. It began by incorporating Max Battles and Dynamax Pokémon, and will soon introduce Gigantamax forms.

In a unique turn of events, these original Starter Pokemon – Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise – are the only ones through whom this fresh mechanic can be introduced. Once the “Go Bigger” event commences, they will gain their Gigantamax forms.

Start date, end date & times

According to the Pokemon Go blog post, the Go Bigger event is set to begin on Saturday, October 26, at 10:00 AM, right in the midst of the Halloween 2024: Part I event. The event will continue until Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 8:00 PM, local time.

All Gigantamax debuts in Go Bigger event

To clarify, attending the Go Bigger event allows trainers to capture their initial Gigantamax Pokemon. These extraordinary creatures can be obtained exclusively through 6-Star Max Raid Battles.

  • Gigantamax Venusaur
  • Gigantamax Charizard
  • Gigantamax Blastoise

It’s good news for trainers: The trio’s Shiny forms will be accessible. This implies that with each six-star Max Raid you participate in, your likelihood of discovering a Shiny Gigantamax Pokemon increases.

New Max Battles

The three mighty Kanto Starters will debut their Gigantamax forms in new 6-Stars Max Raids.

Players need to join forces with 10 to 40 other trainers in order to overcome and capture the powerful Power Spot Bosses during these new raids.

In the upcoming arrangement, trainers will be divided into small teams of four (or possibly less), and those who emerge victorious in these contests will receive a specified number of Premier Balls to attempt capturing the vanquished Boss.

In order to engage with Max Battles, ensure you have at least one Pokemon capable of Dynamaxing or Gigantamaxing. These are the sole types of Pokemon allowed for such encounters.

Max Particle Pack

At the Pokemon Go event, you’ll find a special offer: the Max Particle Pack bundle, exclusively sold on our online store.

The price for the pack is set at US$ 7.99 (or its equivalent in your local currency). Here’s what you’ll find inside:

  • 6x Max Particle Packs (equal to 4,800 Max Particles)

Every time a trainer enters a Max Battle, they’re required to pay some Max Particles. The stronger the Power Spot Boss, the greater the cost. But here’s the catch: these Max Particles are only expended if you manage to defeat your opponent. If you lose, the same amount will be returned to you, allowing you another chance.

What is Gigantamax?

Similar to Dynamaxing, Gigantamaxing represents a fresh transformation that a Pokemon undergoes through the use of Max Particles. This innovative feature made its debut in Pokemon Sword and Shield, enabling them to expand into colossal forms, becoming significantly more potent in the process.

When a Pokemon Gigantamaxes, it undergoes a transformation in its appearance and the moves it uses. Each Gigantamaxed Pokemon possesses a distinctive G-Max Move, and it can acquire two Max Moves that can be enhanced and made more potent using both Candy and Max Particles for increased effectiveness.

As an ardent admirer, I’d like to share my understanding of Max Moves in a more personal perspective: Max Guard and Max Spirit are two extraordinary abilities my beloved Pokémon can unleash! Max Guard is a defensive tactic, safeguarding us from taking too much damage during battle. On the other hand, Max Spirit isn’t just about self-healing; it restores health not only for me but also for the entire team, ensuring we stand tall and ready to face any challenges ahead!

As a gamer, here’s what I’ve got for you on the latest Gigantamax Pokémon in Pokémon Go: This is all the knowledge you need! Remember to stay tuned for every game event, including the Spotlight Hour, Community Day, and those current Raid Bosses. Keep your eyes peeled, Trainer!
