Giant fan-made FIFA Manager 2025 has been updated with a new version

At present, the “Football Manager” series stands alone without a real rival. But things were different in the past. Once upon a time, Electronic Arts had a competing franchise called “FIFA Manager”. Regrettably, its last edition was launched in 2013. A devoted fanbase, however, refused to let it fade away and have been refining and enhancing “FIFA Manager 14” for years now. The fruits of their labor are a collection of mods that effectively serve as unofficial sequels to the original game.

The most recent modification, called FIFA Manager 2025, recently got its primary upgrade a few days back.

  1. The patch introduced updated data for players, teams, stadium names, event calendars and broadcast revenues.
  2. A new competition format in the form of play-offs in Serbia has been added, as well as changes to the Norway and Greece cups.
  3. The technical side has also been improved, removing many bugs, including one that caused the game to hang on the latest graphics cards.
  4. Visual elements such as player pictures, crests, stadiums and cities have been updated
  5. New 3D stadiums have been added in Albania, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland and Uzbekistan.

The creators have been working on this project for years, producing a separate version of the mod for each season.

In this sequence of updates, you’ll encounter enhancements similar to those in official sequels: refreshed databases, enhanced graphics, and a plethora of fresh gameplay elements and adjustments. Included among these upgrades are innovative formations and strategies, the ability to command your team directly during 3D matches, and an extensive expansion of player information. Additionally, it addresses existing bugs and boosts AI intelligence.

The improvements made to this modification are quite remarkable. It’s not just a routine database update; the advancements in graphics and gameplay mechanics compared to FIFA Manager 14 are significant, as evident by the mod files being nearly 70 GB. In essence, it almost resembles what a contemporary installment of the series could look like today, if Electronic Arts hadn’t discontinued it more than a decade ago.
