As a film enthusiast who’s had the pleasure of attending numerous premieres and festivals, I must say that the casting of Nat Faxon as Alexander Hamilton in “Ghosts” Season 4 is nothing short of exhilarating! This man has an impressive resume, from his Academy Award-winning work on “The Descendants” to his current role in “Loot,” and now he’s stepping into the world of ghostly comedy.
“Ghosts” Season 4 has cast Nat Faxon in a guest star role, EbMaster has learned.
In the next episode of the popular CBS sitcom, Faxon will portray Alexander Hamilton, a historical figure well-known for being at odds with Isaac, played by Brandon Scott Jones. This episode is scheduled to air around early 2025.
As a cinephile penning my thoughts, I feel compelled to share my insights on the multi-talented talent that is Nat Faxon. This man, who shared the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar with Alexander Payne and Jim Rash for their 2012 masterpiece “The Descendants,” has now made a splash in the streaming world.

Ghosts” remains one of the most beloved comedies within CBS’s schedule. Besides Jones, its ensemble also features Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky, and Devan Chandler Long in a single-camera production.
The show “Ghosts” is adapted from a UK series with the same name. Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who also act as executive producers and head writers, developed the American version. Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond, and Martha Howe-Douglas are additional executive producers. Alison Carpenter, Debra Hayward, and Alison Owen from Monumental Television, as well as Angie Stephenson from BBC Studios, also serve as executive producers. “Ghosts” is produced by CBS Studios in collaboration with Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
