2025’s Pokemon Presents event delighted fans with a series of announcements, one of which was the unveiling of Pokemon Champions – a fresh title centered around intense, global Pokemon battles in a classic style, allowing players to showcase their strategic prowess against competitors worldwide.

Does Pokemon Champions have a release date?
As a fellow gamer, I must admit, I’m just as excited about the upcoming Pokemon Champions game! However, let me clarify something we don’t have all the details yet. During the Pokemon Presents livestream, they only shared that it’s currently being developed, so we’ll need to keep an eye out for more updates on when we can finally get our hands on it.

Platforms
Champions will be coming to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
As per the Pokemon Day presentation, players can decide on their gaming style depending on their current location.

On February 27, 2025, the initial trailer for the show Champions was unveiled during the Pokémon Presents live broadcast.
The presentation displayed real-life footage of players from various generations of past Pokémon games such as those on GameCube, GBA, and Nintendo DS systems. Towards the end, there were quick peeks at massive stadium fights.
