Gears Of War: Reloaded Beta Starts This Weekend – Here’s How To Access It

Before its launch on August 26, a Gears of War: Reloaded multiplayer beta begins this weekend and continues for an additional weekend, spanning over two weekends in total. If you’d like to participate in the beta, you can do so by pre-ordering the game, but there are alternative methods to join that you might not be familiar with.

Individuals using Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, or Playstation 5 have the opportunity to reserve a copy of the game ahead of time, ensuring they’re eligible for the multiplayer beta that commences on June 13th. Notably, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, PC Game Pass members, and those who currently possess Gears of War: Ultimate Edition can also participate in the action.

As a passionate gamer, I can’t wait to dive back into the gritty world of Gears of War: Reloaded! This isn’t just a reboot; it’s a meticulously remastered version of the original Gears of War game from November 2006. The remaster encompasses every bit of content from the initial release, plus all the post-launch goodies, and it showcases a slew of technical advancements that weren’t even imaginable when the original hit shelves nearly two decades ago. And the best part? It’s been finely tuned for today’s high-end gaming systems. This multiplayer beta is your chance to get an early taste, so let’s suit up and join the fight!

During the initial phase from June 13th to 15th, followed by a second weekend from June 20th to 22nd, the beta will take place. The first weekend is packed with Team Deathmatch games spread across three maps: Gridlock, Raven Down, and Gold Rush. In the subsequent weekend, the competitive King of the Hill mode will be introduced on the Canals map, and both Courtyard and War Machine maps will be incorporated into Team Deathmatch.

Every beta weekend initiates at noon Pacific Time (PST), 3 PM Eastern Time (EST), or 7 PM Greenwich Mean Time (UTC) on its specified day, and concludes at the identical hour on the subsequent Sunday.

In addition to providing access to the beta weekends, preordering the game will give you unique Adam Fenix and Anya Stroud character skins that can be used in the multiplayer aspects of the game.

At the start of May, the announcement for the game was made. More recently, during the weekend, Microsoft revealed a fresh trailer for Gears of War: Reloaded, showcasing content that will be accessible to PlayStation users for the first time as the remaster is rolled out on new platforms.
