However, it seems that a significant number of players swiftly headed to the PS Store to buy the updated version instead.

Days Gone Remastered in top 10 preorders on PS Store

In a post on X, one of the key creators of Days Gone Remastered, Kevin McAllister, expressed joy over the game’s achievement – it has ranked as one of the top-selling preorders at the PlayStation Store. The remaster collection also features popular titles like Monster Hunter: Wilds, Elden Ring: Nightfall, and Assassin’s Creed: Shadows.

It appears that “Days Gone Remastered” is currently ranking among the top 10 best-selling pre-orders on the PlayStation Store!

The comments on the post generally express positivity, suggesting that it boosts the likelihood of producing a follow-up due to its widespread appeal, as some have mentioned that several of their acquaintances purchased the remastered version.

It appears that despite some players expressing criticism, Days Gone Remastered has been selling exceptionally well. Even though those who already own the original game through PS Plus cannot purchase the update, it hasn’t hindered its sales significantly. Consequently, it’s no wonder Sony decided to re-release this relatively recent title, and now we can only anticipate the remaster of God of War from 2018.

On April 25th, the enhanced version of “Days Gone” is set to launch for both PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. This updated edition includes upgraded visual settings and additional gameplay modes.
