Game Pass Adds CFB 25 Today–But Only For Ultimate Subscribers

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now play one of the year’s most sought-after games, EA’s College Football 25. This highly popular title, ranked No. 2 among best-selling games in the US for 2024, is now accessible to members as part of their EA Play benefits.

College Football 25 isn’t playable directly on personal computers, but Game Pass Ultimate members can stream and play this game through the Xbox App for PC due to their subscription. The access is to the full version of College Football 25, not a trial; members can continue playing as long as their membership remains active.

Among the array of football games available in the EA Play collection, CFB 25 isn’t the sole fan favorite – Madden NFL 25 and last year’s EA Sports FC 24 are also part of the mix. A bonus feature of EA Play is the opportunity to test drive select EA games for a duration of 10 hours, such as FC 25, NHL 25, EA Sports PGA Tour, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard, among others.

To clarify, access to EA Play is exclusively granted through Game Pass Ultimate, or as a standalone subscription. This means that those with Game Pass Standard or Core memberships will not be able to play CFB 25 as part of their current plans. If you’re interested in EA Play solely, it costs around $6 per month, and you can opt for this separate subscription without Game Pass.

currently, EA is developing CFB 26, set to release in July. It’s been confirmed that student-athletes electing to play this game will receive a minimum compensation of $1,500. Further information regarding CFB 26 will be disclosed within the upcoming months.
