Galactus Size REVEALED! You Won’t BELIEVE How Big He Is!

There’s a great deal of excitement for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, but no Marvel film is ever without criticisms from comic book enthusiasts. I’m not being critical or sarcastic when I say this; it’s just important to acknowledge when a character may not live up to the grandeur of their original portrayals in the comics. There’s been quite a bit of discussion about Galactus since the initial reveal, with comments on his size, but a recent poster should appease those concerned.

The latest look at the Cosmic villain comes from Empire Magazine‘s subscriber cover, which shows Galactus towering above the Earth and able to grasp it in the palm of his hand. Check out the poster, which also shows us another look at Julia Garner’s Silver Surfer below:

Many people likely imagined Galactus would be this large when it was announced he’d be the main antagonist for Fantastic Four: First Steps. However, it’s important to mention that Galactus has the ability to change his size, possibly explaining why he seemed as big as Godzilla in the initial trailer for the Marvel film.

It’s also important to mention that a poster doesn’t always reflect the reality of a movie’s content. For instance, although we know Galactus can be that large, it’s not uncommon for characters to appear larger than the world on screen, which isn’t necessarily what will happen in this film. Just recalling the Bruce Almighty poster serves as an example of this phenomenon. My point is proven there.

In The Fantastic Four: First Steps, there’s little cause for concern that Marvel will distort Galactus’ size. As mentioned in a feature article within the magazine, Kevin Feige finds this particular scene intriguing, although it may not appeal to everyone in the same way.

Back in the day, people may have found the image of someone wearing a large, angular helmet while strolling through a city amusing. To me, it’s simply amazing.

I have confidence in Feige, and although the MCU has adjusted the power levels of characters like Hulk and Thor to differ from their comic book versions, they usually capture the essential aspects of these characters accurately. It’s hard to imagine that something as significant as Galactus’ size would be overlooked in this movie, considering how iconic the villain is.

For the much-awaited film of 2025 titled “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, expectations run high. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has experienced a few bumps in its recent films, but with this upcoming production, along with the anticipated releases of “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Secret Wars“, there’s hope that Disney-owned properties will regain their status as top tier Hollywood blockbusters. Mismanaging something as significant as Galactus’ storyline is a blunder they can’t afford, given the impending launch of James Gunn’s DC movie franchise in full force.

The initial screening of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” hits theaters on July 25th. I can hardly wait to witness Galactus and a plethora of other exciting elements when it’s finally released, and I’m hoping that we’ll unravel how this connects to the upcoming Avengers blockbuster.
