Gabe Newell just recieved his $500 million superyacht with gaming rooms and more

Gabe Newell, one of the founders of Valve, has received his new superyacht, named ‘Leviathan’. The impressive vessel, built by Oceanco, measures 111 meters in length and is estimated to be worth between $375 million and $535 million.

This yacht, ranking as the 50th largest in the world, was created with close input from Newell, who recently acquired Oceanco. According to Oceanco CEO Marcel Onkenhout, the project took a unique approach from the beginning, and the final result is the most comfortable yacht the shipyard has ever built.

One of the most impressive features of the yacht Leviathan is its extensive wiring system. It contains roughly 280 miles of cabling – that’s enough to reach from Los Angeles to Las Vegas!

The yacht’s comprehensive network controls everything onboard, including entertainment, satellite communication, the hospital, climate control, and even storage for small boats, water toys, and a submarine. It also boasts a gaming room equipped with fifteen computers.

Luxury Launches reports that the main bedroom features a spacious bathroom with beautiful wood flooring and ash-wood cabinets.

This yacht is incredibly well-equipped, featuring two gyms, a cinema, and a special bar area. It also boasts a large beach club – almost 250 square meters – complete with a bar, spa, pizza oven, and platforms for diving. For long trips, the yacht has a fully-staffed medical center with a nurse living on board.

The ship’s design was developed with feedback from naval experts, the crew, and technical staff to facilitate both scientific research and collaborative work. A glass panel displaying the names of over 2,000 people who contributed to the project is prominently featured in the main staircase.
