Funko Fusion Demo Out Now, Lets You Survive The Thing As Mega Man

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must admit that Funko Fusion has piqued my interest like never before. The idea of mashing up pop culture icons from various universes is not new, but the execution seems to be reaching new heights.

As an enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement about getting a hands-on glimpse of Funko Fusion, the thrilling pop culture crossover from 10:10 Games! This playable demo offers fans like me a chilling opportunity to step into John Carpenter’s 1982 masterpiece, The Thing, as characters that seem completely out of sync with their eerie surroundings.

Among the characters, it turns out Mega Man is one of them! It has been disclosed that Capcom’s iconic character, the Blue Bomber, will feature in Funko Fusion. Excitingly, you can already try him out in the free demo on Steam. While you could opt to play as characters from The Thing, why not choose the legendary Freddy Fazbear of Five Nights at Freddy’s or the powerful He-Man instead?

10:10 Games announces on Steam that they’ve been developing this game for three years, and now for the first time, they are offering the public a chance to play it outside of recent convention demos. They emphasize that any feedback, whether positive or negative, will be incredibly helpful as they get closer to the release date on September 13th, and beyond.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited about this co-op action-adventure game that stars my favorite pop culture collectibles! It’s packed with over 20 intellectual properties owned by NBCUniversal. That means you’ll find The Thing, but also content from Jurassic World, Jaws, Back to the Future, Shaun of the Dead, Battlestar Galactica, and even more iconic franchises!

During our recent hands-on experience, we noted that Funko Fusion shares similarities with Traveler’s Tales Lego games, but this isn’t necessarily a drawback. Moreover, the game showcases an impressive array of intellectual properties, some of which might not be suitable for younger audiences, such as Jordan Peele’s Nope and Edgar Wright’s Hot Fuzz.

As a long-time fan of both Funko Pop! figures and video games, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming Funko Fusion release on September 13th. Having grown up playing Team Fortress 2, I can hardly wait to get my hands on the free character pack that will be included with the Steam version, featuring some of my all-time favorite characters like the Scout, Heavy, Engineer, and Medic. Additionally, as a devoted fan of The Walking Dead, receiving a character pack themed around Michonne and Rick Grimes is the cherry on top for me. This exciting crossover will definitely be a must-have for my collection! Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or a casual enthusiast like myself, this release promises to bring hours of entertainment across multiple platforms including Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Mark your calendars, fellow gamers – September 13th is going to be an unforgettable day!
