If you’ve had experience with Clash Royale, you might recognize some of its well-known elements. Nevertheless, there are a few things in the game that have been overshadowed for some time. Key Takeaways:

  • Wooden Chest: The worst chest in the game, only found in the training camp.
  • Clan Chest: No longer available since Clan Wars were introduced.
  • 11th Elixir: Removed in 2016, players used to have 11 Elixir and could get an extra Elixir advantage.

Wooden Chest: The Forgotten Training Camp Item

In simpler terms, during your Clash Royale experience, you’ll come across a humble wooden chest at the training camp. Although it’s considered the least valuable chest in the game due to its limited content – being responsible for providing a new player with their initial cards for their first deck – what sets this chest apart is that each account can only amass a maximum of two such chests throughout the entire gameplay.

Clan Chest: A Relic of the Past

Before Clash Royale had Clan Wars, there was a communal chest called the clan chest. In the old days, each clan member fought separately and collected crowns, which they then pooled together to open this chest. Numerous players hold the opinion that the previous clan chest system was more favored over the current Clan Wars system.

11th Elixir: A Hidden Advantage

Back in the beginning of Clash Royale, gamers could utilize an additional Elixir resource, making it twelve in total. Consequently, if players employed their cards wisely, they would maintain Elixir production beyond the typical limit of 10.9 Elixir. This bonus Elixir gave players an edge, like having six Elixir instead of five when swiftly deploying a Giant directly after reaching ten Elixir. Yet, this perk was taken away in the year 2016.
