As a long-time movie buff with a soft spot for reality TV and a deep appreciation for unique concepts, I’m intrigued by the upcoming premiere of “Dating Naked U.K.” on Paramount+. Having watched various international versions of this format, including “Naked Attraction” in the UK and Germany’s “Adam sucht Eva,” I can’t help but be captivated by the idea of people seeking love in a raw, unfiltered setting. The addition of Rylan Clark as host is an excellent touch, given his charisma and engaging personality.
The UK version of Paramount+ and MTVE Studios have announced that “Dating Naked U.K.” will make its debut on Aug. 23, with Rylan Clark hosting the reality show. New episodes are scheduled to drop every Friday, produced by Nest Productions.
The reality series focuses on ten singles looking for love while living in a natural, tropical environment. Contestants encounter hurdles as fresh arrivals may upset existing connections. Each episode comprises dating activities and an elimination segment called “The Dumping Ground.” Note: This program features full nudity without any censorship or pixelation.
In the U.K. version, we have Billy Field, a young Essex builder aged 24, Chrislove Brandt, a hairdresser from Las Vegas, Dan Ash, a personal trainer of 32 years old, and Dominik Herbert, a 27-year-old Canadian. Additional participants include Emily Read (26), Lauren Beschi (26), Mike Durrant (29), Rico Hammett (30), Romeo (32), and Tiegan Rudge (26). The competition offers a cash reward for those who complete the experience.

Previously, Channel 4 broadcasted ‘Naked Attraction,’ a dating game where contestants selected partners based on progressive unveilings of their naked bodies. VH1 in the US aired ‘Dating Naked’ for three seasons from 2014 to 2016. The concept has been adapted in various countries, such as Germany’s ‘Adam sucht Eva’ (Adam Seeks Eve).”

DAZN obtains permission to showcase The Women’s Cup Global Series soccer event, consisting of two tournaments in the United States. This competition gathers eight teams hailing from various continents such as Kansas City Current, Atlético Madrid, Mamelodi Sundowns, and INAC Kobe for the tournament in Kansas City, Missouri. In contrast, Racing Louisville, Juventus, Palmeiras, and Colo-Colo participate in the second tournament located in Louisville, Kentucky. The series runs from August 9-17, 2024, and concludes with a Final Four championship in early 2025, where triumphant teams from both tournaments progress.
DAZN will broadcast all eight live and complimentary women’s soccer matches throughout Europe. This expansion adds to their existing rights for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Liga F, D1 Arkema, and Google-Pixel Frauen Bundesliga. This is the biggest edition of The Women’s Cup yet, symbolizing the competition’s progression.
