As a lifelong Marvel fan and someone who has patiently waited through the highs and lows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming slate of shows and movies! The rumored release date for “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” on January 25, 2025, has me particularly pumped.
According to leaked documents from Disney, it appears that the Marvel’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man TV series is set for release in 2025. Additionally, there might be information about the release dates of four other shows as well.
As talks about Spider-Man 4 featuring Tom Holland swirl, it’s confirmed that he will reappear on screen in another imminent Marvel production: The Spider-Man We All Know and Love.
In contrast to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a freshly developed animated TV show by Jeff Trammell isn’t considered part of the official storyline. Instead, this series unfolds in a different reality where Spider-Man encounters classic adversaries and is guided by an unconventional mentor – Norman Osborn.
Information regarding the airing of the show has been scarce, however, based on the title of its logo that was uploaded by Disney, it appears that “Your Friendly Neighborhood” will debut on January 25, 2024.
Looks like I’m set for an action-packed adventure on the 25th of January, 2025! That’s when my friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is set to swing into theaters, if the Disney docs are anything to go by. Can’t wait!

While there’s been speculation about it, it’s important to note that neither Disney nor Marvel have officially confirmed the release date of the series. The earlier copyright filing suggesting a November 2, 2024 release might not be accurate. It could potentially be an outdated document or error, so stay tuned for any official updates.
However, if it is true, this is when we could expect these Marvel TV shows to drop:
- Daredevil: Born Again – March 4, 2025
- Eyes of Wakanda – August 6, 2025
- Ironheart – September 2025
- Marvel Zombies: October 2025
- Wonder Man: December 2025
As a die-hard gamer and Marvel enthusiast, I’m hyped about the tentative release dates for some upcoming Marvel projects! Here’s my take on them in first person:

2024 proved to be a transformative year for Marvel Television, following Kevin Feige’s shake-up. The previous year, 2023 (excluding Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Loki Season 2), was relatively lackluster. To make significant changes, Feige scaled back the studio’s release schedule considerably. This year, only Deadpool & Wolverine made it to the big screen as Marvel movies, and Agatha All Along premiered nine months after Echo.
2025 resumes regular programming: “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Thunderbolts” will conclude Phase Five, while “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” kicks off Phase Six in July. “Avengers: Doomsday” follows in cinemas in 2026.
