On October 2, I received the heartbreaking news that my beloved figure, Lucas Coly, took his life at his residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Independent announced on October 4 that the Clark County Coroner’s Office had verified this tragic information to them.
The next day, his manager posted a tribute on Instagram saying, “Goodbye @iamlucascoly, my friend. You’re deeply missed. I hope to join you soon upstairs.
One way to rephrase that would be: “Working under you as my manager was a significant factor in my decision to stay with the team. Now, I find myself missing our conversations, Lucas – especially the ones about our shared challenges behind the scenes, while we maintained our smiles for the public.

The I Discover Stars Entertainment talent manager confirmed that he had spoken to the social media star just prior to his passing. He clarified, “For those inquiring about the validity of this news, let me explain: 1) I’ve been his long-term manager and 2) we were on the phone with each other at the exact moment before this unfortunate event.
The manager additionally requested that supporters should “Send well wishes to Amber,” referring to the rapper’s longtime partner, Amber H. He emphasized the importance of maintaining privacy for her family, including Lucas, and encouraged everyone to reach out to their own friends in times of need, expressing remorse for not providing more support to the 27-year-old.
The statement was made after the musical artist’s last Instagram Story update on October 2, which read “I love y’all” accompanied by an orange heart emoji on a black backdrop.
1996 saw the birth of Lucas in France, followed by a relocation to the United States when he was eight years old along with his family. His rise to prominence stemmed from posting videos of him rapping, both in English and French, on Vine.
After that point, the deceased artist amassed a significant social media presence, boasting 1.2 million followers on Instagram and 470,000 subscribers on YouTube.
