Today, Bandai Namco has made available a free demo of the remastered edition of “Freedom Wars” across various platforms, including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The free demo became available after the full game was launched in January. However, this demo stands alone and cannot be linked to the full game because of distinct specifications that prevent any transfer of save data from the demo to the main version. The demo includes story levels up to the promotion of Code 2, but it can only be played in an offline, single-player format.
An important detail regarding this demonstration is that it’s exclusively playable on the PlayStation 5. While the complete game is accessible on both the PS4 and PS5, the demo is restricted to the newer console. Consequently, individuals with older models like the PS4 are unable to experience the free demo and can only acquire the full version of the game.
Bandai Namco continues to back the complete launch of Freedom Wars Remastered across platforms like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. On the very same day the demo went live, they rolled out a new update patch (version 1.09) for the game.
