‘Frasier’ Visits Seattle: See Kelsey Grammer Drop By the Original Show’s Re-created Coffee Shop and Radio Station Sets (EXCLUSIVE)

As a cinephile who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of television and cinema, I must say that the return of “Frasier” to Seattle is a delightful surprise that brings back fond memories of the original series. The nostalgia factor is strong with this one, as we revisit iconic sets like Café Nervosa and Frasier’s old KACL radio studio.

This week’s episode finds “Frasier” back in Seattle, and here’s a sneak peek into Frasier Crane’s trip to his familiar haunts. He drops by Café Nervosa, the coffee shop where he frequently caught up with his brother Niles over drinks, and pays a visit to his old radio studio at KACL.

In a shared statement, executive producers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli expressed that among the season’s joys for them as fans was revisiting some of the iconic sets and characters from the original series. However, they admitted as producers, it was quite a challenge to locate 90s-era radio equipment.

Tonight at midnight on Paramount+, “Thank You, Dr. Crane” episode airs, directed by Kelsey Grammer. This installment was penned by Stephen Lloyd. In this storyline, Roz and Frasier revisit Seattle for a special KACL anniversary project led by Roz. It is revealed that one of the listeners who received advice from Frasier years ago left his job to pursue magic.

In the eighth episode of this season’s ten episodes, we welcome back Dan Butler as Bulldog and Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton, who are reprising their roles from the original “Frasier” series (airing from 1993 to 2004). Peri Gilpin, known for her portrayal of Frasier’s former radio producer, Roz, is among the original cast members returning for this revival. In fact, you may recall that she made an appearance in the Season 1 finale of the current revival as well.
