At Fox Corp., executives are counting more heavily on streaming subscribers.
The media company, which has been more cautious than some competitors when it comes to investing heavily in individual streaming platforms, anticipates that a new direct-to-consumer broadband service they plan to debut alongside the upcoming NFL season could attract up to 5 million subscribers, as stated by CEO Lachlan Murdoch. Furthermore, Murdoch shared that Fox Nation, a streaming service associated with Fox News Channel, has managed to amass between 2 and 2.5 million subscribers since its inception in 2018.
