Fousey in tears over Kick ban after punching manager in head

As a fan who’s followed Fousey’s rollercoaster journey through the digital entertainment world, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions watching this latest chapter unfold. On one hand, it’s disheartening to see such a talented and charismatic individual struggle with his mental health and make mistakes that land him in hot water. On the other, I admire Fousey for his honesty and vulnerability in addressing these issues head-on.

Notable live-streamer Fousey apologized profusely following an emotional outburst where he physically struck his manager during a Kick livestream, leading to his temporary suspension on the platform soon after.

Fousey, originally a well-known YouTube personality, has shifted to streaming on Kick for about a year now, following a series of bans on Twitch. He’s been doing this under an exclusive agreement.

Consequently, he’s also been prohibited from using that site, due to a heated incident that transpired during the live stream on October 29.

In the course of an argument stemming from his camera not being adequately charged, Fousey forcefully expressed frustration towards his content manager, instructing them to leave his residence. The language he used was quite strong, saying something like “Please depart from my home.

Before Fousey became enraged and stormed towards his manager, they had a heated verbal confrontation filled with strong language. As he approached, Fousey began to throw punches, managing to hit his manager on the head.

In no time at all, Fousey found himself banned from Kick, resulting in a 404 error whenever viewers attempted to watch his live broadcasts.

Later on that same day, he spoke about the occurrence in a brief video, stating that he felt the altercation was unrelated to his suspension.

He stated, “I believe I was not banned for throwing the punch, but rather to prevent him from revealing our secrets, as his silence at this moment would protect everyone in the industry if he were kept quiet.

BET. @KickStreaming BANNED ME.

SAY LESS.

He then uploaded another video showing himself walking on the side of the road at night without shoes, calling out “the team that forgets to tell me to take my mental health medication when I ask them, ‘Hey guys, I’m hiring you to do A, B and C, but your main priority? Help me help myself. I don’t know how to.”

Later on, Fousey showed an entirely changed response, posting a heartfelt video where he expressed confusion about the past two days’ occurrences, as he couldn’t remember them clearly.

He mentioned that he’s been dealing with a lot of stress due to a commitment he made to Eddie Craven, the platform’s CEO, not to repeat last year’s performance failure. He explained that his adrenaline spiked so much in the past 48 hours that he can hardly recall those moments now that he’s out of it.

He shared that he now feels significantly improved and liberated following his recovery from the manic phase, openly acknowledging his embarrassment over his actions during that time.

I apologize sincerely. The high from the adrenaline has worn off, and I’ve returned to the real world, now painfully aware of my actions. Regrettably, this is a pattern that repeats itself for me – it’s always Fousey versus Yousef.

In a recent video, the live-streamer spoke about an event from 2023 when he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital following an incident at a Miami hotel. He had phoned the police, claiming he was in immediate danger of death.

Previously in October, there were reports of Fousey’s disappearance. However, following the incident gaining widespread attention, he reassured worried viewers about his condition, explaining that his management intended to send him back into a rehabilitation program for approximately 80 days.

Yet, Fousey had embarked on a 30-day live streaming extravaganza when his latest ban occurred; however, he maintains that he won’t be departing the platform temporarily and is currently barred from live streaming on Twitch due to his contract with Kick.

At the time of writing, it’s unclear how long his ban will last.
