Forza Motorsport gets perfect gift for its 20th anniversary. Legendary track with 144 turns will return

10 Studios announced in January that they would pause the addition of tracks to Forza Motorsport for six months (from December to May). This news left many players feeling disheartened and anticipating the end of the project’s development. But some had faith that our patience would be worth it, and today their predictions were proven true, bringing immense joy to the entire community as it was confirmed that something extraordinary is indeed in store.

In May, we eagerly anticipate the 20th anniversary celebrations for our favorite series, and while there’s still over a month to pass (with an interim update planned), the developers have already shared some exciting details about the upcoming events. One of the most anticipated additions is the inclusion of the iconic Fujimi Kaido track within the game. This project, described as the “most ambitious” in the series’ history, has been under development since the game’s launch in October 2023.

For long-time fans, they may recall it as the setting from Forza Motorsport 4 back in 2011. To clarify for newcomers, this is a fictional Japanese location boasting breathtaking mountain landscapes. It offers an intricate network of narrow roads designed specifically for high-speed racing and drifting, or simply leisurely drives to appreciate the scenery.

So far, the developers have unveiled the latest version of Fujimi Kaido through a single image (seen above), and they’ve also shared some exciting details: The lap is expected to span 10 miles, featuring approximately 144 turns within this distance. This layout offers a higher “denseness” compared to the Nurburgring Nordschleife track. The route will be offered in two distinct versions, with one running clockwise and the other counterclockwise.

What additional treats can we expect for the 20th anniversary of Forza Motorsport? So far, Turn 10 Studios has hinted at some exciting extras, such as a selection of “highly sought-after” vehicles and unique events in both single-player career and multiplayer modes.

Midway through April, there’s an upcoming minor update, specifically tailored to the Porsche brand, which we are eagerly anticipating. Meanwhile, the Velocity Month is underway, a special event honoring the world’s quickest vehicles (Update 18).
