Forza Horizon 6 Officially The Most Ambitious Entry Yet, Thanks To New Reveal

The highly anticipated Forza Horizon 6 is launching on May 19th, and recent updates suggest it will be the biggest and most expansive game in the series yet. This installment takes the Horizon Festival to Japan, and while it features the usual huge selection of cars, it’s also introducing new and exciting features to the gameplay experience.

The upcoming Forza Horizon 6 will feature the biggest soundtrack ever for a Forza game, with music available on nine different in-game radio stations. Reflecting the game’s location, J-pop will be included for the first time, alongside the series’ usual mix of electronic, drum & bass, electropop, rock, indie, hip-hop, synthwave, and classical music. While not all the songs have been announced yet, the full list will be revealed before the game launches, and will also be available on official Spotify playlists.

Just as Forza Horizon 6 has finished development and is ready for release (known as ‘going gold’), the game’s soundtrack has been revealed. While developers are likely still making small improvements and fixing bugs, reaching this milestone was the last big step before launch. You can now preload FH6 on Xbox Series X/S and PC through the Xbox app, with Steam support coming soon. Here are the file sizes you can expect:

The newest installment in the popular racing franchise is a key Xbox game planned for 2026, and it’s predicted to solidify Horizon‘s position as the leading arcade racing experience.
