As a stealth-focused gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the developers have fine-tuned the enemy types and weapons in this game. They’ve tweaked armor and health stats across all enemies to make each one unique. Plus, they’re adding ‘weak spots’ on these enemies, so landing those crucial precision shots feels rewarding. And let me tell you, the new defeat animations and hit reactions are a sight to behold, making it even more gratifying when you take down those tough enemies!

In simpler terms, we’re planning to enhance the “feel” of the game’s weapons by making changes to key aspects like recoil, rate of fire, ammo capacity, and accuracy for all in-game weapons. This also includes improving the sound, visual effects, and user interface associated with each weapon. For instance, some weapons like the Ashiga ABR-2 Zato Blaster Rifle have been reworked, significantly altering its firing patterns.

Similarly, some weapon components and enhancements will receive adjustments; however, it’s unclear which ones are being revamped. What is certain is that the Power and Ion Modules, which are types of upgrades, will undergo changes. The revamp for the Power Module enables Kay to shoot her Blaster and hit enemies hidden from sight, knocking them unconscious. Meanwhile, the Ion Module now has the ability to stun enemies for an extended duration, making them more vulnerable to damage during this stunned state.

In open-world fighting situations, Kay can now keep hold of any weapons she comes across or discovers, reducing the chances of them being dropped, particularly during activities like climbing, navigating environments, or engaging with enemies. The last modification to the combat system in Star Wars Outlaws is about cover; now, the camera no longer automatically adjusts which shoulder it should be on. Instead, players can choose which shoulder the camera will align with when switching weapons, offering better control, precision, and crucial stability while taking cover.

Starting from when Title Update 1.4 goes live for both consoles and PCs, our Patch Notes page will reflect all the changes, tweaks, and enhancements Star Wars Outlaws is set to receive. On the same day, this action-adventure game in space will debut its first story expansion, Wild Card. This expansion will coincide with the release of Title Update 1.4 on November 21st, 2024, for Steam.
