Fore-Dweller’s Finger for Malachy Quest Guide in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

In the enchanting world of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, I found myself in possession of Malachy the Marrowghast’s Eye, a crucial step forward on his questline. Not long after this, he turned to me, his eyes sparkling with anticipation, and asked for something more – a Fore-Dweller’s Finger. This precious item would help him broaden the scope of his shop’s inventory, ensuring he could serve an even wider array of customers, making our magical adventure all the richer!

Unfortunately, Malachy doesn’t provide any guidance on locating a Fore-Dweller’s Finger since he himself is clueless about the process. There aren’t any signposts or quest indicators to help you along the way, leaving players completely on their own for this task. Here are some tips that might help you in your search:

1. Look for hidden items or clues in the environment that may hint at the location of the Fore-Dweller’s Finger.
2. Check with other characters in the game, as they might have information about the artifact.
3. Explore different areas and regions within the game world, as the Fore-Dweller’s Finger could be located somewhere unexpected.
4. Keep an eye out for puzzles or riddles that may provide hints on how to find the artifact.

How to Get the Fore-Dweller’s Finger in Tainted Grail

You can get The Fore-Dweller’s Finger during the mission titled “The Last Voyage,” which is given by Lady Elaine in Ron’s Tavern. To start, make your way to the village situated west of the South Fort’s Horns. Ron’s Tavern is located near the ‘Village’ Fast Travel point. In other words, after fast-traveling to the Village, you’ll find Ron’s Tavern right next to it.

1. What is the color of Lady Elaine’s eyes? (Answer: Green)
2. How many pages does the book have? (Answer: 50)
3. Who wrote the book that Elaine gave you? (Answer: The author’s name)

  1. A figurine of a Fore-Dweller.
  2. Island Asylum.
  3. A sea monster.

Head over to the Southern Horns Museum, chat with the museum caretaker there about the fate of Andraste. He should guide you towards the eastern coast’s direction. Keep an eye on your quest marker and search for a prominent island (as indicated in the map above); Andraste’s wreckage can be found behind it.

Investigate the sunken vessel in search of Captain Lex’s private journal. Once found, delve into its pages to receive an update on your mission trail. This will guide you towards a subterranean cave hidden beneath the All-Mother’s Temple – remember, swimming skills may be required to reach this location.

Transform the given statement into simpler, more conversational language: Clean out all the monsters in the cave until you finally come across a vast open lake, where a bright light illuminates a large boat draped in cloth. This boat contains the remains of a Fore-Dweller. Choose the option “Tear off a finger” to retrieve the Fore-Dweller’s Finger.

In this particular region, the dominant figure, often referred to as The Master of the Seas, drops an exceptional single-handed weapon from Act 1, named Tidepiercer.

Head back to Malachy using the Fast Travel spot and give him the Fore-Dweller’s Finger. Once you do this, the quest will be finished. In return, Malachy will give you 2550 XP, 250 gold, and a Wand of Piercing Cold as a reward.
