The “Star City”, a spin-off of the series “For All Mankind”, has brought on board three fresh faces as part of its leading ensemble, according to our latest information.
Actors Adam Nagaitis, Josef Davies, and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis have signed on for an upcoming Apple TV+ production that explores an alternate historical scenario.
The threesome is set to join the already confirmed actors Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Solly McLeod, Agnes O’Casey, and Alice Englert in this production.
The show was initially unveiled back in April 2024. As we mentioned earlier, this series aims to narrate an alternate account of the space race akin to “For All Mankind,” but this time focusing on the Soviet Union’s perspective.
In my perspective, I’m diving into a gripping, suspenseful journey that reimagines the space race. It transports us to a pivotal instant in this alternate narrative – when the Soviet Union claimed victory by being the first nation to land a man on the moon. However, unlike before, this tale unfolds from within the Iron Curtain, offering glimpses into the lives of cosmonauts, engineers, and secret agents entwined within the Soviet space program. This narrative also sheds light on the perils they bravely faced to advance mankind.
Nagaitis will take on the role of Valya, a well-regarded cosmonaut within the Soviet Space program. Davies will portray Sergei, a young and brilliant engineer stationed at Soviet Ground Control. Additionally, Ashbourne Serkis will appear as Tanya, the wife of a cosmonaut who grapples with life in the restricted environment of Star City.
