For 36 years he was right before our eyes. Few viewers noticed this star in Back to the Future

It’s likely that devoted movie enthusiasts have memorized the Back to the Future series, but it seems there are hidden mysteries within them that not all viewers were aware of. Given that these films are over three decades old, some aspects might have held less significance back then compared to now.

One detail that might have gone unnoticed by some viewers is the participation of the actor who would later become famous for his role in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, specifically as Frodo, in Back to the Future Part II. In this film, Elijah Wood, a familiar face to LOTR fans, took part in the production. Subsequent roles followed, some more significant than others, such as the one with Mel Gibson in “Forever Young,” eventually leading to his breakout performance in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy that brought him widespread acclaim. He also starred alongside Charlie Hunnam in another successful film, titled “Green Street Hooligans.

Wood kick-started his movie career with a major success, not many actors get such a significant and well-received debut as he did.
