Football fans hide in bathroom for 27 hours to sneak into Champions League final

A pair of enthusiastic soccer supporters have become internet sensations by staying hidden for 27 hours inside Munich’s Allianz Arena restroom, aiming to attend the Champions League Final without having purchased tickets.

In simpler terms, the final match of the Champions League pitted PSG against Inter Milan, ending in a decisive 5-0 victory for the French team. A few spectators managed to witness the entire game without having to pay for tickets.

Securing tickets for this year’s most sought-after football game can prove quite tricky due to two main factors: cost and popularity. However, through a dash of good fortune and immense perseverance, two TikTok users managed to find an alternative solution.

In a widely shared video, Belgian football enthusiasts Neal Remmerie and Senne Haverbeke demonstrated their ingenious method for attending the final live: They spent a total of 27 hours tucked away in a small restroom cubicle.

Football fans bypass security to watch Champions League final for free

On the eve of the game, Neal and Senne managed to enter the stadium nonchalantly by donning casual vests and strolling in.

After that, they located a public restroom and placed “out of service” notices on two stalls. Then, they waited patiently for a while, aiming to keep quiet so as not to draw attention from security guards.

Remmerie mentioned that we carried a bag filled with treats to munch on, and passed the hours by using our phones. The bright lights never dimmed, and the seating arrangement wasn’t ideal for resting, making sleep elusive. This situation turned out to be both physically and mentally challenging.

A couple of days after, finding themselves listening to the crowd from afar, they decided to leave their enclosures and sneakily gain entry into the grandstands without purchasing any tickets.

The aim was straightforward: locate a security guard who seemed to be preoccupied, perhaps engrossed in their mobile device or eating, and nonchalantly walk past them. Having successfully bypassed them, the duo made their way into the stands among Paris Saint-Germain fans and enjoyed the game.

Ever since they posted it, their video has had almost a million views in just a single day. Neither UEFA nor Allianz Arena have commented on the incident yet, leaving us unsure about any potential penalties for the duo.
