Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn surpasses 500,000 players

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must admit that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has piqued my interest since its announcement. Having dabbled in my fair share of action RPGs, I was intrigued by the unique blend of flintlock fantasy and the souls-like genre it promised. While I found the combat satisfying, I felt the narrative and questing fell a bit short of expectations. However, seeing that over half a million adventurers have embarked on this journey is truly commendable!

Kepler Interactive and A44 Games have shared that their latest release, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, has now been played by over half a million people. This action RPG became available on July 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

As a gamer, I’ve got some exciting news! You can grab Flintlock on Xbox Game Pass, whether you’re gaming on your console or PC. The cool thing is that this count of 500K doesn’t just include the number of players, but it also encompasses those who have access to the game through their Xbox Game Pass subscription. However, it’s important to note that this figure doesn’t explicitly account for direct sales.

In my assessment, I mentioned that the fighting in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is enjoyable, but its entry-level soul-like RPG experience is somewhat limited due to unengaging quests and a storyline that lacks memorability.

The announcement from Kepler Interactive can be found below.
