As a seasoned veteran of the Outer Rim, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges and battles. And let me tell you, Rammuha was one of the toughest opponents I’ve ever encountered. But with perseverance and determination, I managed to come out on top.
In the game “Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn,” Rammuha is the initial significant adversary you’ll encounter. With her distinctive three arms, she presents a peculiar appearance. Furthermore, she is equipped with an impressive repertoire of attacks that players must master to defeat her. Here, I will walk you through the process of overcoming Rammuha in this boss guide.
How to beat Rammuha in Flintlock Siege of Dawn
As a gamer, when I reach the Kneeling Keep and make my way into the Chamber of the Judges, I’ll encounter Rammuha descending with a monologue about gods of death or something similar. The opening cutscene provides all the necessary information about this boss – she boasts three arms, and she’s eager to put them to use.
Two essential skills for this battle are “Counter Shot” and “Poised Shot.” With Counter Shot, you can execute a gun attack following a successful parry rather than only melee attacks. Poised Shot, which requires Counter Shot as a prerequisite, is an exceptional ability in the game, enabling you to deflect unblockable attacks using your firearm.
Rammuha launches numerous unstoppable assaults. If you can not only deflect these attacks but also retaliate effectively, you will significantly improve your chances in this battle.
First Phase
In the video clip at 0:23, Rammuha doesn’t aggressively attack with multiple strikes. Instead, you have a chance to either bide your time and anticipate an attack for a favorable response, or take the initiative.
When I encounter Rammuha for the first time, I notice that in his initial form, he has three primary attacks, each with distinct telltale signs. The first one I’ll call the “Drill” attack, which occurs when Rammuha drops to one knee and leans forward (around 0:30). If you haven’t chosen the Poised Shot skill, a quick dodge to either side should be enough to evade this attack. And if he misses, you can retaliate with a melee attack while dodging forward.
When Rammuha performs the second move I’ll call the “Spin” attack around 0:34, be prepared because you can anticipate it when she stands on one leg and twirls her body. Dodging this attack requires some agility since the reach seems to vary, but executing a double side dodge usually keeps you safe. Alternatively, you might attempt dodging backward twice for added security.
You can halt these assaults using your gun instead of evading, and due to her extended recovery times, you have the opportunity to retaliate with a strong melee attack. However, be mindful not to exhaust all your Powder Charges as you will require them in abundance for the later stages of the battle.
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can tell you that the upcoming attack is no joke. I’ll be calling it the “triple hit” for short. You’ll recognize this one when Rammuha leaps into the air and comes crashing down at you, swinging her chain three times in quick succession.

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent in the realm of virtual battles, I can confidently tell you that mastering the art of parrying is an essential skill to survive and thrive in combat. Having missed the initial hit or two, the ability to parry the subsequent ones not only gives you a reprieve but also presents an opportunity to turn the tables on your adversary.
In my opinion, it would be wiser for me not to use bombs during this battle. At 1:05 in the video, I tried employing one, and the thick smoke that ensued obstructed my view of an incoming drill assault, leaving me vulnerable to damage. Moreover, she seems particularly immune to their effects, so it’s best for me to keep them hidden instead.
In the initial stage, your goal is to amass curses against Rammuha. To accomplish this effectively, utilize Enki right before launching assaults. Additionally, consider acquiring the skill called “Shadow Partner”. This ability enhances the curse an enemy incurs when you and Enki strike a target simultaneously. The synchronization required for this technique is challenging (I’ve yet to master it), but the resulting boost is substantial enough to be worth attempting.
Second Phase
During the Curse finisher, Rammuha transitions into her second form. In this phase, she introduces a new attack (at 2:10), which requires saving your Powder Charges for effective countermeasures. After disappearing from sight, Rammuha reappears on an arena edge, preparing to charge an attack. As she summons swords in mid-air, you must aim and fire at the orb directly above her. Do this promptly since the longer you delay, the greater the number of swords that will be released. Moreover, try to find a position with minimal orb exposure as some orbs are inevitable byproduct of destroying an orb. The Sapper’s Gauntlet can come in handy if you run low on Powder Charges, allowing you to quickly restore them using Enki before time runs out (as demonstrated in the footage above).

In the second stage, Rammuha launches another spinning attack at 2:30, which I admit is tricky to parry due to its timing. However, you can easily dodge it by seeing her kneel again (without bringing her arms in) and performing a double backstep dodge. After this, she might execute a triple hit attack signaled by another jump with raised arms. The parry intervals remain the same as before, so if you’ve mastered them during the first phase, it will be a breeze.

In the last part of this stage at 2:50, Rammuha performs another regular unblockable attack. You can anticipate it when she jumps high and starts spinning her torso. It’s risky to dodge or evade since the attack has a considerable range. I recommend interrupting it with your gunfire for maximum safety. Additionally, consider using your Withering ability during this attack. Given its lengthy wind-up, utilizing Withering will grant you ample protection and significantly increase the curse on Rammuha, bringing you closer to the third phase.
Third Phase
During the last stage, several new attacks emerge, but two of them bear similarities with different evasion methods if interruption isn’t an option. When you hear a thunderclap, Rammuha may either stay erect or flip over. If she turns upside down (3:35), jump twice to dodge her sweeping attack, and if she remains upright (3:40), concentrate on securing an interrupt. Evading the upright attack’s hit is challenging due to its intricacy; my attempts to dodge it, regardless of position, resulted in taking damage.

In the final assault of this stage, which occurs around the 3:58 mark, you have another opportunity to deflect Rammuha’s attack. This particular move can be anticipated as Rammuha raises one leg before slamming it down. Following this, Rammuha will execute a spinning attack. Unlike in the previous phase, however, you’ll be able to parry this spinning assault.
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’ve come across many challenging boss battles that required strategic planning and precise execution. One particular encounter comes to mind, where Enki and I were engaged in a fierce battle against an opponent. Her health meter was gradually diminishing as we chipped away at her defenses. The tension in the room was palpable as the end drew near.
