FlatOut Series Successor with Fantastic Destruction Gets a Sequel. Check Out Trailer for Wreckfest 2

As a veteran Wreckfest racer who has spent countless hours navigating treacherous tracks and causing mayhem on the roads, I can hardly contain my excitement! The announcement of Wreckfest 2 during today’s THQ Nordic Digital Showcase was like finding a long-lost friend.

For quite some time now, there’s been no active development on Wreckfest, leaving us all curious about what Bugbear Studio has been up to. If anyone had bet that the Finnish developer would simply be working on a sequel given the immense success of the first installment – they just hit the jackpot!

Today at the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, the official reveal of _Wreckfest 2_ was made public. You can now watch its debut trailer which blends live-action footage with scenes rendered using the game engine. The sequel is said to offer a more visually appealing experience than its predecessor, boasting improved lighting effects and routes richer in detail. However, it remains to be seen if these enhancements will match that of a generational leap, given that _Wreckfest 2_ is only planned for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The launch date has yet to be disclosed.
