As an old-school gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt and countless hours spent on various EA Sports titles, I must admit that the latest installment, FC 25, has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. The Early Access for Ultimate Edition owners is a welcome treat, but the technical glitches have definitely been a sour note.

As a diehard fan, I can’t contain my excitement for FC 25, the latest addition to the renowned EA Sports series! The Ultimate Edition owners are already basking in Early Access glory, while the rest of us eager gamers patiently await the official launch on September 27th.

How to Fix Controller not Working in FC 25

Below are several potential fixes for troubleshooting controller problems experienced during gameplay of EA Sports FC 25:

  1. Check your Steam Input settings. Open the Steam app, go to “Settings,” and in the “Controller” tab, enable all controller options.
  2. Ensure the gamepad is connected to your PC. While playing with a wired controller can be inconvenient, sometimes it’s necessary. It may take some getting used to, but in many cases it helps.
  3. Sometimes, turning on or plugging in your controller after you start the game can sort out the problem.

Incorrect Controller Prompts in FC 25

As a gamer, when I encounter misaligned prompts on my screen, adjusting the settings in Steam controller usually solves the issue. However, if I’m using a PlayStation or Xbox gamepad and the buttons still aren’t lining up correctly, it might be a more complex problem – similar to the one gamers experienced with the Marvel vs Capcom Collection Arcade Series. In such situations, we may need to wait patiently for the developers to roll out a solution.
